We are passionate about encouraging and equipping churches and other organisations to support fathers, father figures and their children. Our motivation comes from a verse in the book of Malachi in the Bible, which talks about turning ‘the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers’ [Malachi 4: 6, NIV 1984].
In a Who Let The Dads Out? group dads and their children get to spend time together, mix with other families and have fun. By running groups organisations are strengthening families and communities, and in church-run groups dads may be offered the opportunity to explore the Christian faith.
Many organisations use a traditional parent & toddler group format for their Who Let The Dads Out? group, typically meeting once a month on a Saturday morning, but you need not be constrained. Your group could be completely different – a different day or time, different activities or targeted at a different age group of children and their fathers. You may even call your group by a different name. We would still love you to join our growing network.
It is free to register a group with us and once registered your organisation will be able to use the Who Let The Dads Out? name, logo, materials and publicity resources. In addition, the details of your group will be listed in our directory to help families find you.
