Two video-based courses to support parents through the primary and teenage years
Parentalk provides parents with the opportunity to talk about the day-to-day challenges they face, as well as looking at valuable principles and easy-to-apply techniques throughout the parenting journey.
There are two Parentalk courses available to run in your community: Parentalk – The Primary Years and Parentalk – The Teenage Years. Each course includes six flexible and easy-to-run, video-based sessions, with a guide for group leaders and session notes for parents. These booklets are downloadable or you can purchase hard copies in our shop.

Our Parentalk courses are presented by Rob Parsons and Katharine Hill alongside a variety of special guests, including: broadcasters Diane Louise Jordan and Carrie Grant, paediatrician Dr Kunle Ayonrinde, and psychologist Dave Lumsdon.
Who can run Parentalk?
This resource can be run by anyone as you don’t need training to deliver it. The Group Leader’s Guide will give you all the information you need to run the session.
Who is it for?
Parentalk is primarily aimed at parents of children of primary or secondary school age. However, parents of younger children are also likely to find this a useful resource.

We now have a version of both Parentalk courses with British Sign Language and optional subtitles. These can be found on the streaming page when you sign up.
